Pneumaion

Privacy

Pneumaion is in early development and invite-only. This page explains, in plain words, how we intend to handle information. It will change as the product takes shape, and we'll update it before anything launches publicly.

This website

This site is static. It has no sign-up form, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it doesn't set cookies. Our hosting provider (Google Firebase Hosting) may keep standard technical request logs, such as IP address and time of request, to run and secure the service.

If you email us, for example to request an invite, we use your email address and what you write only to reply and to manage early access. We don't add you to a marketing list without asking.

Your car's data belongs to you

Data recorded from your car by the Pneumaion Link, and the reports made from it, belong to you as the vehicle owner. You decide who else can see it.

Your car's baseline

The assistant compares your car with its own normal. That baseline is built only from drives you explicitly mark as good after the drive. Nothing is added automatically, and plugging in the Link never adds to it.

Workshops

If you share evidence with a workshop, the technician who claims your job gets access to that job's records only, for that job. You can withdraw access. Workshops can't see your other history just by knowing your registration or VIN.

What the assistant does with your data

The assistant uses your car's data to answer your questions and write your reports. It explains measurements; it doesn't decide that your car is healthy or that a repair worked without a measured Before, a recorded repair and a measured After.
